Our Friend, Brother, Son, and Husband

Jason Brown was tragically killed in a motor accident on the morning of March 2nd, 2010. He was 25 years old; too young to leave us. He and his beautiful new wife lived in a nice home they bought in Arizona. Our thoughts and prayers go out to comfort his family.

"The Good Old Days" from Laci Mouritsen

Feels like forever ago is what we now call "the good old days." Our biggest concerns were what boys liked us and if we had the newest Dr. Martens or Lucky Jeans. We were still learning how to copy a CD to give to a friend and it would take at least a half hour on our newly purchased, totally awesome computers.

I miss the days when our cares were small and our futures were far away. Death was not something we considered other than in the "old" people. We were still young. The phrase/song, "I Wish That I Knew What I Know Now!" tells us of the time we can never get back and the way we wish we knew of the things our grown up lives have put in front of us.

Maybe on 8th grade yearbook day I would have taken more pictures of all the friends together. Maybe I wouldn't have covered my face in so many of my pictures. Who knows, maybe I would have turned my head and kissed Jason back! (Right there in Mr. Tuft's room!)

Life is beautiful and too short.

Thanks Jason for always being such a true friend to EVERYONE!

Jason was the most kind hearted person I knew. He befriended you no matter what anyone else thought.

RIP, Buddy!

Racked

So this is the family dinner before the wedding. Growing up we would smack each other in the boys, lol. Once Jeff got Scott Stone, Jeff got layed out lol. Anyway, it started here so everyone is on their guard... good times.

The Cake Topper

At Jason and Bailey's wedding. Same pose as the cake topper

Jason Fishin/Campin

This is Jason fishing at Knoll Lake in AZ. His fish was so cute.. lol

Jason, Dan, and I in top hats at my wedding

This is my brother Dan, Jason, and me in top hats and tail coats. Jason and Dan were my best men.

Jason's Pressure Point Tattoo

Jason had one of each of these on the inside of his thighs. While in massage therapy he discovered that applying pressure there stopped his muscle spasms. So he got these eyes, from the Tool Lateralis album tattooed so everyone would know where to press.

Great photo of Jason at work

Jason fabricating things at work.. He was one heck of a handy man. We spent one weekend welding together a huge couch stand for stadium seating. It was epic.

Just found this.. Jason Prankin at work...

Steve just woke up

Jason:
"Steve! Wake up nagger. Leys get some drinks!"

Steve:
"Hold on, I just woke up from being drunk."

Jason:
"So, I just woke up from wanting to be drunk!"

Shut Up Jason!

I've known Jason for as long as I've known my hubby Joe, which is about 6 years. He's always been a great friend to me! But of course, for whatever reason, cuz I'm a girl, or it's just the way he is, he loved to give me a hard time. He always played around making fun of me, or would get in arguments/debates with me just to see me get all riled up. And I would always finish the argument with "SHUT UP JASON!" and he would laugh and laugh at me, which of course just only made me more mad. I know at one point for my contact info in his phone, my name was Shut Up Jason. And to this day his name in the contact info on my phone is Shut Up Jason. It never got old for him, over 6 years, he'd argue just to argue, and he'd say "You know what you have to say to get me to shut up..." "Oh ya, SHUT UP JASON!" *he busts up laughing!*

From Cristina

Jason was the sweetest, most caring man that I have ever met. He also was my inspiration for becoming a Massage Therapist. He was the reason that I even started thinking about massage. It's so shocking to hear that he has left us and that I will never see him again. My heart goes out to his family and also to his wife. May he rest in peace and watch over her as she goes on in life. Jason will be missed dearly. He always had a special place in my heart as I did his. It's times like these when you wish you would of taken the chance to see him again.

All I can say is that I am very proud to have know this Wonderful man. I remember when I first met Jason--he was a Senior in High School at Mountain View. I remember when he got that Yellow or tan van and worked on it in the Autoshop there.
He was one of the hardest workers I have known. Thank you Jason for the laughs and memories--and thank you Joey (my nephew and one of Jason's best friends) for introducing me to this awesome dude. We all love you Jason.
